Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for setting up, testing, evaluating and improving customer near battery applications in the application laboratory.
2.Independent control and improvement of laboratory set-ups and scientific data analysis.
3.Strong cooperation and collaboration with INFICON´s R&D, Product Marketing Department and customers to develop new applications and accompany product developments suitable for the needs of the battery industry.
4.Provide technical support for sales and application engineers in the battery industry in China. Participate in customer projects and assist sales to provide suitable solutions for the end users, with measurements as well as with theoretical calculations.
5.Visit end users and system integrators to explore customer’s needs and trends. Monitor INFICON’s products on usage, and users' comments and requirements, and give the feedback on the relevant information to sales.
6.Keep eye on the trends of product categories and market segments in the battery industry. Collect and summarize actively battery market information and trends to improve or adjust the direction of business in a timely manner.

Requirements：
1.Masters's degree or higher in physics, material science, chemistry or similar.
2. 3+ years of experience in vacuum technology, laboratory work, R&D, and data analysis. Used to work scientifically and self organized.
3.Experience in vacuum system design, different pumps, and laboratory setup. Mass spectrometer or Helium leak-testing knowledge is an asset.
4. Strong scientific view and experience in data analysis. For example, Excel, Matlab, Labview, Originlab, etc. Programming knowledge is an asset.
5.Ability to communicate and write fluently in English.
6.Excellent team player, clear communication with HQ and engineers.
7.Independent, self-motivated and structured work and good documentation skills.
8.Excellent communication skills to understand customer needs, ability to learn and adapt to frequent travel.
9.Good market analysis and assessment skills with the ability to gain good insight into the market and gather industry information.
10.Work location: Guangzhou (Travel to other regions will be arranged depend on customer needs).
