Responsibilities and duties

· Design plastic and components (2D and 3D) for connectors in vehicle
· Make validation plan and follow up validation progress
· Present APTIV design proposals to customer and get customer approval
· Follow customer vehicle build events and solve related issues
· Setup/Maintain/Update design database
· Lead cross function team to implement Engineering changes
· Assure adherence to all work procedures
· Strive for lean organization and continuous improvement

Qualifications / Requirements

· Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
· More than 3 years of design work experience in relative area
· Deep knowledge of injection molding and metal stamping
· Proficient in English (oral and written)
· Well trained CAD capability or CATIA/UG/Pro E
· Good communication skills

Nice to haves (preferred qualifications)

· Good OEM customer relationship
· Basic knowledge in IATF16949
