MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
This includes main activities such as:
1. Be the main product marketing representative on behalf of Audi AG and Audi China, to address the product statement in all relevant committees.
2. Product concept phase: Define the comprehensive market requirements list as well as the product profile & design briefing.
3. Product early phase: Refine the market requirements list and deliver all product marketing input into the project and design milestones.
4. Product late phase: Deeply support the operational topics, e.g. the offer structure definition and the product request process.
5. Be the product manager to lead the car project related discussion and alignment with Audi AG, Audi China and Joint venture
Main Tasks
The main tasks within the field of Product Marketing are:
* Recognition and analysis to the market potential of future models, evaluating volume and price potentials.
* Defining early phase market requirements, and align with Joint Venture and Headquarter.
* Define car differentiating factors
* Taking the lead for organizing market requirements workshops with Joint Venture.
* Actively supporting Design milestones workshops.
* Delivering market input into early phase product offer structure.
* Handling product requests with Joint Venture and Headquarter, presenting the product requests at product committees.
* Being responsible for Color & trim briefing and specification list, supporting the color & trim presentation and official events together with design colleagues.
* Working with Joint Venture and Headquarter to generate product briefing for product Launch Milestone.
* Representing product manager in products clinics and research.
* Coordinating all product marketing meetings & events, e.g. Workshops with Joint Venture & Headquarter, Clinic participation, etc.
* Preparing market competition by comparing the company´s product to competitor´s products.
* Defining product pricing proposal and ensuring an alignment with Headquarter.
Necessary education:
University – Business and or Marketing degree.
Personal skills:
Preferred Experience in automotive industry, Cooperation, Analytical thinking, self-reflection, Planning, well-organized, ability to work under pressure, Team player
Working experience (in years):
5 years in the respective field
Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):
Proficiency in MS office( PPT, Excel, PPT), both in speaking and writing fluent Chinese and English. German would be a plus.
