The Hardware Test Engineering team is looking for Engineering Technician to assist in component and vehicle level test activities including test preparation, test execution and post test inspections. This team is responsible for supporting all engineering test teams ranging from powertrain, chassis, closures and body in white inspections. A successful candidate in this role must have strong attention to detail, hands on background in assembly and dis-assembly of components, he/she will work side by side with engineers to support test development and strive in a challenging environment. Must be a self-starter and able to figure out how to do things independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute vehicle, subsystem and components level testing on in-house, or 3rd party Labs.

• Perform the installation and commissioning of test equipment, workshop assets and facility infrastructure.

• Support R&D engineering with custom test configurations.

• Focus on continuous improvement and 5S practices.

• Troubleshoot and debug electromechanical test setups.

• Support failure investigation and data analysis.

• Support Test , Test setup and test script development or maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST

我们需要您具备

• Strong experience in one of below engineering activities: HV battery, Drive system, vehicle control system and circuit including both hardware and software.

• Strong knowledge in one of below equipment application: chamber, chiller, power cycler, robots and so on.

• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude – ability or potential to take things apart and reassemble them without instructions.

• Strong communication abilities – able to effectively relay information to different people from direct colleagues to engineers and managers.

• Knowledge of basic hand tools, fabrication a plus.

• Knowledge of electrical skills: basic wiring ability, connecting sensors & power supplies, soldering, using a DMM or oscilloscope.

• Detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills including Microsoft office and project management tools like JIRA / Confluence.
