Responsibilities:
Work closely with local management team to provide insightful financial and commercial support to decision making.
Participate key strategic planning activities of the business, including budgeting, FQ and annual strategic planning process and lead the preparation of needed data in local company to ensure accurately and timely submission of budgets and forecasts.
Work closely with operation team to enhance fixed assets, inventory and cost management and measurement of operational performance, ensure the realness and integrity of assets, participate local investment preparation and review.
Ensure appropriate monthly financial closing and reporting (group and local), develops key financial measures and analysis to track overall business performance and implementing cost control and business corrective actions where necessary,
Provide to management team monthly management reporting deck with business commentary and analysis to guide the respective company achieve the business and Financial targets, participates or leads financial reviews with senior management for country/region reviews.
Participate agent/distributer appointment/renewal review, sales commission review.
Drive working capital improvement through credit control, inventory and cash management.
Ensure the control environment is maintained and compliance of company operations to all applicable regulations and standards, statutory requirements (e.g. finance, tax, statistics, industry and commerce, etc.) and company documented procedures with the support by regional FCOE team, and business is provided with robust and compliant financial policies and procedures.
Identify, develop and adopt continuous improvement opportunities in financial processes, lead DOA review and internal control process review and self-check.
Lead annual CSA with support from FCOE; Manage internal and external audit processes and relationships; and ensure all audit issues are closed timely and meet requirements.
Works closely with reginal common finance shared service team and ensure that there is a proper communication between site, FCOE, division and group.
Co-ordinate and support on global / regional finance projects
Other ad hoc duties as required.
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience of working in well-established global multinationals with matrix reporting structures.
Over 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis for China or Asia.
5+ years of people management experience with ability to relate to staff at all levels.
Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
Strong exposure to financial control; budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
Experience in data management and analysis, including use of business reporting and finance systems like SAP, Hyperion, Oracle etc.
Self-motivated and able to work with high degree of independence
Excellent skills in MS Excel, Power point and Access
JV finance working and leading experience as strong plus
Qualified Chartered Accountant from a recognized professional accountancy body as plus.
Experience of working with Finance shared service as plus.
