Key responsibilities include the following:

• Further develop existing suppliers. Continuously improve supply quality and prices reduction performance;

• Identify new potential suppliers by visiting and evaluating, develops and updates commodity strategy, reviews new add/change suppliers to ensure a qualified, low cost, and strategically located supply base to support current and anticipated material requirements

• Negotiation of price and purchasing contracts to ensure all parts sourced meet or are below project target.

• Develops strategy to achieve year over year saving target for related commodities, total cost management concepts required

• Work with quality and Operation team to handle major supplier quality issue review

• Design for Cost and VE/VE support to the simultaneous development team.

• Support ECN / PCR change for pricing and cost control, summarize costing update.

Qualifications
BS/BA or equivalent experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English;

Advanced PC skills (spreadsheets, ERP) required

Requires 8+ years purchasing experience,

Metal / mechanisms automotive components purchasing experience is required

Strong negotiation Skills

Ability to work in a highly productive, constantly changing environment
