M Moser Associates, the winner of first ever American Institute of Architects (AIA) International Region Firm Award, is seeking an accomplished and talented Conceptual Design leader to join our team in Shanghai. As a key member of our design team, you will work on a variety of projects ranging from corporate offices to healthcare and education facilities. Your role will involve obtaining and developing design briefs, conceptualizing and establishing design strategies, creating detailed design drawings and renderings, and collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Highlights:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have a degree in architecture or interior design, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in leading conceptual designs and being familiar with each stages towards successful delivering the entire project. You should be proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software, and have a keen interest in exploring the use of AI tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participating working in close consultant to lead multidisciplinary design teams from on all project phases from concept to completion.

• A consultative approach to managing clients and team members

• Proven experience in directing a design team through design specifications, working drawings, and construction documents, including verification that designs meet applicable building code s when necessary

• An ability to manage multiple teams, guiding and inspire the work and progress of drawing, studies, specifications and other project tasks on multiple projects

• Right to work in China

• Must have experience and confidence in delivering design pitches to corporate clients

• Ability to maintain design integrity from design concept to on-site construction

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
