IDC is seeking a dynamic and analytical individual to join our team as a CX Market Analyst. As a CX Market Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in deciphering technology trends and their impact on customer experience strategies for our clients in the tech industry. Your focus will be on how the customer experience strategies align with technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
Technology Landscape Analysis: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and innovations within the tech industry that have implications for enhancing customer experience. Engage with technology vendor ecosystems to gain comprehensive understanding of new/emerging capabilities.
Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth analysis of the technology market identifying opportunities and threats relevant to customer experience strategies, to provide clients with comprehensive market intelligence. Create a cohesive and holistic perspective of CX software research.
Market Research: Analyze market share, assess the strengths and weaknesses of tech vendors, and identify opportunities and threats to help clients make informed business decisions.
Industry Reports: Conduct, write and present detailed industry and customer survey reports, market forecasts, and trend analyses to support client decision-making processes.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consultants and business development, to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and cohesive research solutions or report to clients.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, software development or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in market analysis, preferably within a consulting or market research environment.
• Familiarity with customer experience knowledge, such as marketing, advertising, feedback mechanisms, satisfaction surveys, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) or familiarity with customer experience strategies and their alignment with technology solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS or Excel) and techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Familiarity with various research methodologies, both qualitative (interview skills) and quantitative (data insights).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools.
• Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for accuracy in data interpretation and reporting.
• Must be a good writer and speaker in both English and Chinese.
