J.Queen New York is a Home Textiles company focusing on Bedding, Bath and Window Collections, but is rapidly expanding to include many other Home decor classifications. We have the best design team, and design is our #1 focus with inspiration from all over the world. We produce superior quality merchandise for a variety of tiers of Retailers, and seek to add one more merchandiser to our fast-paced team environment.
Key job tasks/duties/responsibilities:
1. Handling new developments from pricing to sample approval;
2. Communicating with designers, packaging, and operation teams in New York to create and maintain specifications of the products and packaging;
3. Communicating with merchandisers, quality controllers and suppliers etc., for specifications and the approval of samples and production.
To be successful in this role you will need:
1. Bachelor degree, major in Textile is preferred;
2. At least 2 years’ working experience in home textile area, experience in other home décor areas is a plus;
3. Good command of written English;
5. A quicker learner, capable of working on products of multiple categories;
6. Pleasant, positive, proactive, nice to people, high attention to details and a passion for excellence, and a strong capability of interacting with people.
