The Senior Supply Chain Manager oversees and directs supply chain activities across multiple locations or complex sites, with a specific focus on implementing strategies for operational plans encompassing production planning, material procurement, inventory control, outsourcing, and vendor selection/retention. This role also involves conducting or managing strategic supply chain analyses, identifying, and developing opportunities for enhancing supply chain efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Responsibility to align and execute annual priorities for improving the supply chain in conjunction with manufacturing operations. This involves formulating practical plans to optimize material sourcing, production planning, product movement scheduling, inventory management, logistics, and meeting customer demands.
2. Serve as the primary resource to coordinate projects that support point of manufacturing decisions, footprint utilization, supply chain optimization and product transfers
3. Provide analysis and data to support the product rationalization process. Provides project leadership to define, plan, organize and manage product transfers.
4. Perform plant Manufacturing readiness reviews.
5. Communicate transfer status and manages the customer notification process.
6. Develop and document improved processes and procedures for product transfers as part of a cross functional team.
7. Manages projects through to completion ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining overall project ownership to assigned projects.
Identify, maintain and control product transfer costs.
8. Support the point of manufacture process through data analysis and develops procedures surrounding the decision-making criteria.
9. Manage production capacity and capability analysis/planning/strategy work by using oracle system to pull production information.
10. Support strategic alignment between global, regional, and site Operational strategies as needed to support business growth trajectory, customer service expectations and optimize cost.
11. Create and manage process of resource planning, Rough Cut Capacity Planning, and Capacity Requirement Planning.
12. Conduct Point of Manufacture and Distribution analysis and oversee execution of key decisions.
13. Schedule and facilitate meetings necessary to coordinate and manage projects and other related business requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related
- 7+ years of professional level experience in project management, engineering, materials management, or production control.
- 5+ years in Operations or Manufacturing environment 3+ years of experience in Project/Program Management.

- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Power Point and Visio)
- Experience with major ERP platform environments (specifically planning and scheduling --functionality)
- Experience and proficiency in how to extract and manipulate data from databases or ERP systems
Experience with Innovation projects, product commercialization, stage gate methodology and business execution projects.
