Responsibilities

- Leading and continuously ramping up the R&D testing department

- Management of the departmental budget and forecast budgetary requirements

- Independently promote standardized test procedures and implementation of new test methods

- Preparation and coordination of test orders in cooperation with the internal design office for the wide range of HAWE product research development tests

- Professional and on-schedule independent performance of product development tests, including setting up a professional and suitable test setup in test stands or customer applications

- In charge of critical measurement data analysis and proposing improvement measures in case of abnormal test results

- Detailed and careful documentation of all test steps, findings, and further measures

- Close communication with the Headquarters R&D testing department to ensure and update measurement results, testing technology & internal process

- Accompany sales visits at customer site if necessary and provide on-site service upon request for R&D testing tasks
Requirements

- At least a Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering

- Managerial experience of more than 3 years

- More than 5 years experience in hydraulic components, systems & testing

- Excellent understanding of the wide range of hydraulics

- Deep knowledge and experience in the assembly and functional principles of hydraulic components and systems

- Good understanding of manufacturing and production processes

- Good knowledge and safe handling of digital data acquisition systems

- Knowledge and safe use of measurement / evaluation programs (e.g., FlexPro / CatmanEasy)

- IT knowledge and experience in the use of MS Office

- Fluent spoken and written English, German would be a plus

- Capacity to work in a multicultural team

- Self-driven and works under pressure

- A hands-on mentality is a mandatory and basic requirement
