with multi-department team whose purpose is to expand Messer’s business in Electronic bulk gases. Develop opportunities & projects in China for nitrogen plant, oxygen plant or ASU according to business development strategy for semiconductor field.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·      Plan and set up a business development structure for the region to constantly chase upon the potential projects in electronic bulk gases ;

·      Establish an information and intelligence network for the electronic bulk gases to identify timely the potential project information;   

·      Search potential project and evaluate investment opportunities;

·      Promote Messer as a reliable brand of high quality EBG supplier;

·      Provide market input for EBG product development team;

·      Collect, follow, understand and maintain the understanding of EBG market conditions and customer requirement;

·      Identify key EBG customers and follow up;

·      Organize an internal cross-department team responsible for providing proposals to customers for on-site and/or EBG supply project;

·      Lead negotiations for JV contracts and key supply contracts;

·      Provide internal and external project proposals to get approval for investment from Messer and the local government;

·      Liaise with the relevant authorities for project support and approval;

·      Support the process of company registration and start-up to hand over to the relevant general manager;

·      Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

·     At least bachelor degree in business/finance/engineering. MBA is a plus.

·      Proficient in English required.

·      Over three years of working experience in ESG business development/sales and marketing in a multinational company.

·      Experience with or understanding of semiconductor, FPD, and familiarity with semiconductor quality and operational practices, including lean manufacturing, Working experience in petrochemical or chemical industry and/or gas industry will be a plus.

·      At least three years’experience working in the semiconductor industry or chemical industry supply chains as a product specialist, program specialist or similar role

·      Ability to quickly and effectively assess, evaluate, and communicate market opportunities, competitive issues, and business performance.

·      Good interpersonal and communication skills.Good leadership skills.
