• Responsible mechanics engineer (BTV) for life cycle management of engine components
• Cross-functional reporting and alignment
• Coordinate and localization project with Joint Venture
Qualifications
Qualification
• Engineering degree (Bachelor/Master), preferred Mechanical or Vehicle engineering or similar field
• Enthusiasm for engineering, technology and innovations
• Experience in engine development, focus on troubleshooting, testing, analysis and validation
• Expert/Specialist in powertrain hardware component/system development
• Confident and experienced in supplier management
• Motivated by mastering challenges
• Target oriented, enduring and self-dependent
• Supporting change, flexibility and improvement
• Intercultural interest, open minded and able to adopt
• Enjoying working as a team with young and highly motivated colleagues
• Fluent English
• Willingness for domestic and international business trips
Experience
5-10 years working experience in engine system development at OEMs or suppliers.
Task description
1 Localization validation of ICE & battery mechanical hardware
a) Define specification and validation plan
b) Supplier evaluation and management
c) Tracking and pushing on project progress
d) Troubleshooting, failure analysis, and counter measure evaluation
e) BOM and technical documents maintenance
f) Component/system validation and release
2 Global lifecycle management of ICE mechanical hard ware
a) Technical support and risk assessment for plant and field issues
b) Counter measure evaluation and validation plan
c) Further optimization for cost reduction

CN specific ICE component development
a) Supplier evaluation based on production ability and RD performance
b) Define CN specific adoption, validation and evaluation criteria of engines
4 Cross function supporting and alignment
a) Technical support and evaluation for vehicle testing
b) Reporting and alignment to cooperation teams / departments of component technical status and issues
