Job Description – Fit Out Engineer
Overview
The Fit Out Engineer [FE] will support the project development team during the tender and construction of premium retail projects. This position will be responsible for on-site review and observation of the public interiors fit out for a premium club space and the common areas of the shopping center, including guest toilets, elevator lobbies, and support facilities. The primary working language will be Chinese, but the team and company have an international background, so English language capability will be useful.
Location
This role will be based in Suzhou, with the potential to continue in Shanghai for future projects. In-person daily attendance is required. Overtime will be occassionally required depending on project progress.
Key Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, interior design, or related fields
• 5-8 years experience working as a site engineer or related role on interior fit out construction for hotel, restaurant, club or retail projects
• Work experience for developers or on their behalf at a CM firm
• Work experience on 5-8 built projects, preferably including foreign-investment projects
• Understanding of site safety requirements, and related building and construction codes
Job Requirements
• Review and mark up of shop drawings, specifications and construction drawings
• Organize and review FFE materials and samples
• Daily inspections of fit out construction works
• Coordinate the works with the project plans, and conduct drawing reviews
• Organize and evaluate change orders and drawing issues
• Technical review of interior decoration bids
• Moniter the progress of interior decoration works, conformance to design, and coordination of resolving construction interfacing problems
• Daily site inspections

Language
• Native Chinese [Putonghua] required.
• Basic English skills, preferred.

室内装修工程师[FE]职位属于外企开发商的项目发展部工作，支持部门在招标和施工阶段管控设计。该职位负责现场巡查在高端商业中心的公共室内区域包含会所电梯厅和卫生间。公司有国际的背景所以有基本的英语能力优先。
职位位置
职位在苏州。必须现场上班。苏州项目完工后有机会参与上海项目。

任职资格：
• 本科及以上学历，建筑、室内设计类工程类相关专业
• 5-8年以上装修施工工作经验，具备酒店，餐厅，商业零售相关的经验者佳
• 开发商或工程管理公司的经验者佳
• 5-8完工的项目经验，优先外资项目
• 熟悉施工安全和建筑施工关系规范
• 能够阅读施工图包含土建和机电

岗位职责:
• 审查室内装修施工图技术规范和加工图
• 组织公共区家具设备和材料的样品
• 配合项目规划协调室内装修设计工作，及负责装修设计各阶段图纸报审；
• 组织落实装修工程设计工作，负责项目各阶段图纸中室内装修专业设计审核，控制图纸及变更的交付进度、深度及合理性；
• 负责室内装修专业相关的招投标技术评审；
• 负责项目设计和建设中室内装修的专业技术支持；
• 负责室内装修施工效果的监控，协调土建机电等在施工中的问题；
• 每日工地巡查
