Report Line: Launch Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Mass production projects management(mainly focused area)
○ Leader of mass production projects in case of delivery issues, change management and internal CSS and VAVE;
○ Cross-functionally coordinate with internal/external to ensure the high quality and timely project delivery;
○ Arrange weekly ECN meeting with team members, distribute tasks to team and follow up results;
○ Keep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, status reports and meeting notes.
2. New projects launch management
○ Act as main interface to development, sales, quality and controlling for conception, planning and realization of the production line;
○ Drive compliance to design for manufacturing guidelines and rules (design rules, LEAN aspects and robust processes);
○ Plan manufacturing introduction timing milestones and timing plan to project team;
○ Lead planning of manufacturing concepts following GPS and Standard Lean Management Principles;
○ Cooperate with project manager and launch teams in the plant, in order to develop and introduce the optimal manufacturing concept during development and launch phase;
○ Track and report of industrialization status (cost, timing, quality) in central reporting tools;
○ Lead project for manufacturing issues, interface to plant services and focus factory including lead of local launch team (plant);
○ Manage the necessary kickoff and review meeting for each trial run in launch phase;
○ Organize monthly OPS review for new projects.
3. Complete other tasks arranged by line manager
Job Specification / required skills:
i. Bachelor degree or above in engineering (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, etc)
ii. Minimum 5 years experience in automotive industry of manufacturing or technology field;
iii. Strong planning, multitasking, attention to details and project management skills
iv. Good English language skills;
v. Ability to work in international environment, good team player.
