Job Description & Qualifications :
Deliver new, compelling designs solutions and product innovations for automotive exterior and interior.
The position is in the Shanghai Design Studio
Responsibilities:
• Create fresh, innovative ideas with a stretch and forward thinking.
• Work traditionally and digitally (2D and 3D) for concepts and production programs.
• Self-driven with leadership role on project developments.
• Project ownership and drive the team for high quality deliverables with timing discipline.
• Work creatively within technical package/constraints.
• Interface with cross-functional team during various design development phases.
• Create artistic presentation to senior management.
Functional Skills
• Visionary and passionate about Automotive Design.
• Academic degrees and work experience in Automotive Design.
• Strong 2D & 3D digital capabilities. Well experienced in both Exterior and Interior design & development on concepts and production projects.
• Ability to think three-dimensionally, with a strong emphasis on proportions, sophistication, and a refined sense of graphics and form.
• Deep understanding / knowledge in Automobile Design and Design Process.
• Proficiency in applying and translating cultural insights to design characteristics.
• Strategic and creative thinking.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
Special Knowledge Required
• Traditional design media (pen, pencil, marker)
• 2D/3D digital design media (Photoshop, Alias AutoStudio, Maya, VRED, Power Point, etc.)
