Job Summary:

* Responsible for lead the instrument QC department and ensure safe, reliable, cost-effective and efficient operation of the instrument quality control function, including incoming material inspection, in process control and finishing good quality control.

Main  Tasks & Responsibilities:

Technical:

* Ensure reliable instrument quality control function for validation purpose and commercial operations.
* Develop instrument incoming material inspection, in process control and final product quality control strategy.

* Carry out the quality inspection for incoming materials according to validated testing procedures and methods.

* Conduct the quality control test for finished goods according to validated testing procedures and methods.

* Support instrument type test for registration.

* Draft,edit and review the instrument quality control SOPs.

* Processing of specific CAPA and ECR tasks

* Non-conformance management and trending

* Continuous improvement of quality control  procedures, processes in collaboration with the technical support and Q&R team.

* Collaborate closely with global, sending site and RDSZ site functions.

* Other duty as assigned by management.

Safety, Health & Environment

* Ensure that all applicable Safety, Health & Environment requirements are fulfilled to comply with corporate group policy and local legal requirements.

Quality and Compliance

* Ensure ‘Right to Operate’ through compliance with all global and local regulatory requirements applicable to RDSZ.
* Implement and apply the RDSZ Quality Management System (QMS).

Product Supply

* Maximize the service level to support uninterrupted supply of high-quality products.
* Ensure that robust instrument quality control business processes are in place.

Leadership & People Management

* Create an environment of strong team spirit and motivate and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals in short, mid and longer term.
* Ensure timely and effective communications.
* Establish ambitious goals in line with department objectives.
* Drive collaboration within the site and across the network.
* Ensure that staff are appropriately trained and qualified for the activities they perform.

Cost Management

* Manage and control expenses and investments towards the set targets.

* Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement that generates tangible contributions to site operational performance.
