Job Description:
Providing leadership, mentoring and guidance of the IT Infrastructure Program, Operations and Field Services Engineers regionally, while leading the team with day to day management.
This role provides the IT infrastructure operations management – China with a primary contact point for development and implementation of department specific and/or major projects delivery through providing input/leadership within their area of expertise.
Job Responsibilities:
* Directly manage China Infra IT team including Cloud, hosting, network, field service and Infra program members.
* Continue develop a high-quality site support organization, attracting & developing talented people with the China region
* Manage the Cloud based hosting like MS Azure, AWS etc.
* Manage the Data centers and computer rooms, cloud knowledge is a plus
* Take a positive and leading role in the delivery of desktop expertise to assist with management strategies of the organization
* Ensure that projects are delivered flawlessly within agreed timeline and budget
* Regional operational management of IT field services engineers, including but not limited to
* Maintain/Exceed established IT Service Levels
* Assist with establishing/refining relevant IT desktop/client services procedures
* Manage regional service delivery expectations and customer satisfaction targets
* Manage regional support teams in the area of risk mitigation associated to aging hardware, software, audits, Disaster Recovery, Virus Protection and Patch Management
* To work inline and with reference to Incident, Problem, Configuration, Change and Release management
* Effectively manage cost
* Manage local IT spend with pre-defined budget constraints, as they pertain to IT Infrastructure
* Identify year on year productivity improvements
* Manage all project spend within budget
* Identify project cost reduction opportunities
Job Requirements:
* Experience:
* Experience with PC hardware, operating systems and Office productivity application software
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, SCCM, and Microsoft Outlook is a plus. Additional experience with networking and RF technology is a plus
* Experience of working in a customer focused IT support environment which has included technical problem resolution
* Experience of supervising and line managing staff
* Experience with developing / managing budgets
* Experience leading enterprise desktop operations

3. Academic Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field
* Typically has 5-10 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 1 years of experience in a supervisory role.
* Technical certifications in Microsoft and Networking technology is a plus but not required
* Cyber security experience was preferred.
