Job brief
Marketing Manager needed to plan and implement marketing and advertising activities. For this role, you should understand the full marketing mix and be familiar with ways to analyze market research. You will work to convert ads and promotions into increased revenue for our company’s clients. You will be able to manage offline promotional events such as tradeshow, roadshow and seminar, create and manage contents for social media platforms (both domestic and international). you have strong English language skills and are highly proficient in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Creating spreadsheets and analyzing quantitative data is easy for you and you can provide solutions to improve the performance. Ultimately, you should help achieving the company’s business goals through building strong and effective marketing campaigns.

Who you are: This position would suit someone who is willing to grow with the company, is highly disciplined and has at least 5 years’ experience working on marketing campaigns. You have a flair for creativity but strong attention to the detail. You are a team player who is capable of working independently and available to travel domestically and internationally. Our firm is a boutique consultancy and distributor based in China, although our scope of operations includes Europe, North American and Southeast Asia. We are small but mighty, disciplined but flexible and have been a mainstay of international agri-food consulting since the 2006 EU China Partenariat through to work on behalf of the governments of Spain and Canada.

Job Responsibilities:
a. Most Important
• Able to create the strategy and plan for Social Media (Little Red Book, Douyin, Weibo, Instagram, Facebook) marketing.
• Able to help create pitch decks or proposals.
• Supervise Content Creation and Ensure objectives are being met.
• Able to interface with international clients.
• Able to create reports on marketing activities and sales.
• Conducting market research to identify new revenue opportunities for clients and company’s own distributed food products.
• Has ‘worked their way up’ in other words has a hands on knowledge of the tools used in content creation

b. Less Important
• Able to handle management and logistics including trade show, road show, seminar.
• Able to manage offline food or nutraceuticals promotions.
• Able to motivate team members.
• Set team deadlines and performance metrics.

Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role (especially in Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industry)
- Proven expertise of social media operation and managment (Xiao Hong Shu, Weibo, Douyin, Bilibili, Facebook and Instagram)
- Working Knowledge of Commonly Used Design Software, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Excellent English skills
- Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
- Optimistic/Have a Positive Disposition and a ‘Can do’ attitude
- Eye for detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proactive and self-disciplined
- Strong analytical skills
- Internationally minded with strong interest in European and North American food industry
- Willing to undertake occasional domestic and international travel
