Support the Global Packaging Team with Documentation Related Activites (100%)

• To generate, develop and specify the full requirements up to and including palletisation of packaging for a portfolio of Wound Management products including Hull site manufacture products, S&N China products, S&N Inc. AWM products and Outsourced products, from concept to planned launch in line with Marketing expectations and targeted profit margins.

• To initiate and project manage the required Change Control documentation for Product Line Extensions, and major / minor packaging changes for Hull site and Outsourced products to meet S&N quality standards.

• To generate and control of artworks for all WM products from origination to print, from single changes to major product group/GBU roll-out programs for legislative or commercial reasons.

• To operate and maintain the Electronic artwork approval process ensuring approval lead-times are achieved and the minimum number of amends is incurred during development. Within this it is the responsibility of the Packaging Technologist to ensure compliance with the S&N Packaging Design guidelines and that ISO9001 control requirements are achieved.

• Authorship of Packaging and Labelling Specifications for Wound Management products within the required ISO9001 standards and control within planned timing parameters, so that products are packaged, palletised and coded correctly.

• As required, carry out Transit testing as required in ISTA2 for WM products, in order to ensure packaging and palletisation meets required standard expected by our warehouse / distribution partners and customers.

• Provision of detailed material, weight and composition information for all packaging components data for U.K. and European Group Company compliance with the Packaging Waste Directive and WEEE Directive.

• Packaging Analyst will deputise for the Packaging Technology Leader / Packaging Manager as required.

• To perform all activities in compliance with relevant GMP and Quality Systems standards and specifically with FDA Quality System Regulation and ISO 13485.

• To apply high standards of occupational Health & Safety in the workplace to comply with company policy and procedures.
