Job Description
We are now looking for a Sourcing Manager to join the Procurement team of Metso Aggregates Business Area.
As a Sourcing Manager, you will have the responsibility for the sourcing and developing our supply chain mainly for our China operations but also for export purposes to support other factories. You will be responsible for Commercial, Electrical, and Automation categories within the Aggregates business area. Main tasks are to continuously develop our procurement performance, improve our competitiveness, and manage our supplier network.
Our target is to take our next step in developing the supplier pool locally in China. You will have a key role in this by collaborating with our global procurement team and with stakeholders from quality, engineering, and product management.
You will maintain and improve supplier relationships and be responsible for supplier’s quality and delivery performance. You will do contract lifecycle management and create new ones on demand basis.
Position location is in Tianjin, China.

To Succeed
To succeed in this role, you should already have a few years of experience in procurement, including market and supplier analysis, negotiations, contract management and purchase order flow. You have a good understanding of procurement processes, international business environment, and ERP system. It is beneficial if you have been using SAP earlier in your career.
You have excellent ability to make strategic analysis, planning, and motivation to drive those into results. Your workstyle is self-reliant and determinant.
We also value:

● Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (e.g. in engineering or in business)
● Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement
● Good IT skills with MS office tools and ERP systems
● Fluency in English language
● Ability to travel 25-40% of the work time
