As the Procurement Change Management Specialist for the APAC Region, this individual contributor role supports all areas of the PPG enterprise, including multiple functions, all SBUs in the APAC region, and all stakeholders and partner agencies. The Change Management Specialist will ensure users of ePro, the PPG global e-procurement tool, are prepared to successfully transition into and adopt new procurement processes to deliver “One PPG” global standard.

You will establish a deep understanding of ePro and the most significant changes that impact the users. S/he will use approaches and tactics to successfully communicate business process changes to various cultures, in different work settings, in multiple SBUs, and to our external suppliers. S/he will use this program knowledge to equip leaders and managers with tools to lead, influence and engage their teams, while also ensuring they themselves are well-versed in the need for change(s).

You will also work closely with the SAP S/4Hana Connect PPG Team and Corporate Communications team to leverage enterprise channels, and ensure alignment to company messaging, the PPG brand, processes, priorities, etc. This position will report to Procurement Global ePro Deployment Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and execute strategic change management plan for SAP Global Template Program with external agencies and internal partners

• Engage PPG’s senior leadership, business/functional leaders and front-line managers as ambassadors and advocates of the program to ensure adoption

• Engage agency partners to determine the most effective engagement cadence and segmentation for audiences that range from PPG’s executive committee to employees working in transactional roles

• Closely collaborate and interpret messaging from internal and external change management partners to ensure clarity of message for each stakeholder group

• Align to and execute transition plan and support within country/region legal language requirements upon completion of implementation

• Work directly with PMO and Connect PPG Change Management team on general messaging and strategy

• Support needs of the assigned workstream in terms of end-user readiness, stakeholder engagement, risk tracking and mitigation, Super User engagement, and more

• Partner with regional sites and take responsibility for end-user engagement, readiness and adoption

• Ensures change plan activities support behavior and mindset shifts that yield expected business results

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and read Chinese and communicate with English speaking colleagues

• Minimum of two years of change management experience at a corporate level

• Ability to work within teams and motivate diverse personalities

• Ability to work with all levels of an organization (from the manufacturing front-line to the Operating Committee)

• Experience reporting on qualitative data and change KPIs

• Experience establishing action plans to address gaps and issues

• Proven ability to manage complex and long-term communications projects

Extra

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology, psychology, communications or related field.

• Prosci change management certification

• Track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Experience working with people/groups with different cultures than his/her own.

• Experience in supply chain communications.
