WHAT YOU DO

As a Global Senior Merchandiser, you have ownership over the best deal for our customer on your assigned products.

RESPONSIBILITY & MAIN TASKS

In a global role you have ownership over the entire workflow to secure the Global best deal and on time delivery in your assigned suppliers.

In this context, you are responsible for making the necessary assessments to ensure the best price, right capacity and right capability suppliers are selected for each requested product per set supplier strategy.

You have co-responsibilities in driving development, quotation and order follow up processes per set purchase strategy.

You are responsible for following ARKET working routines/methods and ensuring on time delivery and sustainability requirements are secured.



QUALITIES/COMPETENCES

As a Global Senior Merchandiser, you deliver on the areas you have ownership for by living our values every day and primarily through collaboration and teamwork.

In a global role, you work closely with your team members, your leadership team and the group production teams to select the best suppliers for the products you’re working with. You collaborate with the assortment team in buying, clarifying all details in the requests received.

You inspire and encourage your peers and stakeholders to achieve great results through clear and proactive communication always securing that messages are received and understood.

You display the negotiation skills needed to secure the best deal. You follow our routines closely and make sure systems are updated and information is shared and available for analysis.

Overall, you always act with high levels of professionalism while at the same time behaving as an ambassador of Our Values towards everyone you engage with.
