As a member of Asia Finance team, the Cost Accountant will be responsible to check BOM of all programs, tracking cost variance and adjust standard cost in system. This person will also in charge of tax and internal control related, give support to external audit.
The Role
Key responsibilities include the following:

1. Complete cost-related closing work, GIT, variance adjustment and other relative work.
2. Checking program BOM, tracking cost variance, update cost data in QAD.
3. Conducting yearly evaluation of standard costs, monitor and update standard cost according to latest information.
4. Cooperate with finance shared service team to perform day-to-day accounting.
5. Ensure the timely and accurate invoicing to customer, including payment collection.
6. Monitor FG delivery quantity and its price to guarantee invoice on time
7. Deep investigation on tax policy update to ensure tax compliance and no tax penalty
8. Keep good relationship with customers and local tax bureau
9. Preparing reports to governments: tax bureau; statistics bureau etc.
10. Keep eyes on the cash flow forecast and make sure the actual cash in and out are consistent with the forecast.
11. Cooperate with internal and external audit, and provide related documents
12. SOX report preparing.
13. Other tasks assigned by controller

Qualifications

1. University Graduate with bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance related discipline
2. At least 1 year experience in accounting area in manufacturing.
3. Good communication skill verbal and written, both in English and Mandarin
4. Good at ERP system, QAD knowledge is preferred.
