Job Summary:
• Deploy country category strategy in factory level.
• Understand and satisfy the requirements from factory and propose purchasing solutions to support daily operation.
• Integrate purchasing and supply chain activities into full value chain for value innovation and creation.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage daily purchasing operations in the factory, and ensure the purchasing team able to meet Quality, Cost and Delivery requirements from both external and internal customers.
* Continuously streamline purchasing processes in the new factory to ensure close cross-functional collaboration, effective communication, high efficiency, and full compliance to SKF rules and procedures.
* Ensure purchasing readiness for the set-up of new channels and the relocation of the new factory.
* Formulate factory purchasing strategy in alignment with business strategy and category strategy.
* Regularly conduct risk assessment on supply base in terms of capacity risks, environmental risks and financial risks, and take timely and effective risk mitigation actions.
* Actively identify new saving opportunities with TCO (total cost ownership) and FVC (full-value-chain) mindset and lead strategic cost reduction projects in the areas of both direct material and indirect material.
* Formulate purchasing business plan for the factory, closely monitor the trend of cost level and market demand and take timely and effective actions to offset risks and deviations.
* Continuously motivate, coach and train team members to forge a highly effective and efficient factory purchasing team.
* Provide strong support to factory business development and new-product flawless launch and ensure early involvement from purchasing.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanics, Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 10 years total working experience, with min 5 years’ experience of purchasing or mechanical engineering related.
* Good knowledge of mechanical products.
* Good at process / project management.
* Mature, strategic thinking has business acumen, customer oriented.
* Excellent organizational skills, planning skills and negotiation skills.
* Hands on attitude.
* Familiar with quality system requirement will be preferred (such as IATF 16949).
* Fluent spoken and written Chinese and English.
