WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENC IN THIS POSITION:
The role of program manager is to ensure that a project is successfully completed according to the defined objectives, scope, schedule, costs, and quality requirements, while maintaining effective communication and coordination with all stakeholders involved.
Work with Global and Regional Sales Manager to manage key accounts relationship, lead the assigned new products/projects launching speed, quality, cost and product life-cycle management for business growth and profitability.
1. Function as the primary customer interface for the plant operations, and develop strong relationships and credibility with assigned customer accounts.
2. Responsible for developing a project management plan that defines the projects objectives, scope, schedule, costs, quality requirement, and ensuring that the project team follows this plan.
3. Assemble and manage cross-functional teams developing a framework and the necessary disciplines to ensure that the customer’s internal and external performance goals are achieved while balancing the cost impact of the plant.
4. Effective communicate with customers, team members, superiors and other stakeholders, clearly communicate the customer expectations to the plant operations teams.
5. Identify potential risks within the project, develop risk response plan, monitor risk status, and take timely countermeasures to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
6. Ensure on time delivery of cost effective, high quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
7. Track to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets for specific program managed accounts
8. Work on cost reduction measures for both nVent and customer.
9. Facilitate the quotation process within nVent for the customer and track changes and cost impacts for the operation and the customer.
10. Organize project milestones and closure activities, including project gate review, lessons learned, archiving project documents, and ensuring transition to support or service teams.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor Degree required, PMI certification preferred.
2. Min 3 year experience in project management.
3. Experience from manufacturing industry, data solution, test & measurement preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1. High integrity, passion and flexible working hours are necessary
2. Business sense with basic financial knowledge, manufacturing value stream and product BOM structure
3. Strong project management leadership and inter-personal communication skills.
4. Excellent English knowledge both verbal and written.
