As a Global Quality (GQ) Assembly & Test Central QA (ATCQA) Engineer/SR Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., the role will be responsible for the quality aspects of the assigned Micron Assembly and Test sites. The role will be interacting with Micron different teams regarding engineering, quality and reliability topics. The role will participate in regular reviews of on-site Quality audits, Site quality metrics, Change Management Process and Materials Review Board events which are part of Assembly & Test line quality performance KPIs. The role is expected to follow through with containment, recovery, corrective and preventive actions for target misses and validate for site quality incidents that resulted in non-conformance to Micron.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Analyze Data for Decision Making
Collaborate and Review Major 8Ds, Validating Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions
Support Customer and Internal Quality Audits
Perform Manufacturing Surveillance Assessment on Sites
Driving Sites to achieve Quality KPI and Metrics
Collaborate with Assembly and Test (AT) operations and engineering groups to review and approve through Change Management process (GCP)
Drive effective quality metrics (e.g., 8D Score)
Prepare and publish quality metric data
Leads Quality Projects CIP
Collaborate with site on key activities (e.g. Power walk, 3rd party 6S)
Product coverage includes PCDRAM in components assembly and test to module assembly and module test.
Support other sites when required
Main Key Focus
Support Micron Manufacturing on Quality Related Events, ranging from NPI to HVM
Close Engagement with Micron manufacturing site on all activities
Education - Required
Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline
Related field of study
Speak fluent English is required.
Experience - Required
5+ years’ experience in any of the following:
Semiconductor component assembly and/or memory module manufacturing an advantage.
3+ years’ experience in each of the following:
Quality processes and procedures
JMP, Python, SQL Knowledge, Tableau is an advantage
