Saint-Gobain is looking for a dedicated individual to join its NOVA External Venturing team as an External Ventures Project Manager based in Shanghai. Projects will focus on identifying and sourcing potential partnerships with and/or investments in world-class startups, mainly in new technologies such as construction productivity, circular economy, electric mobility, industrial energy transition and digital transformation. As an External Ventures Project Manager, you will join NOVA and contribute to its efforts to be a strategic partner to both startups and Saint-Gobain's businesses. We provide startups with access to markets and customers, exposure to experts within Saint-Gobain, structure bespoke partnerships to help them thrive; rigorous market analysis and understanding of the business strategies and the start-up ecosystem are at the core of our activities.

You will be expected to utilize excellent communication and project management skills to interface with both internal and external partners in a variety of ways.

Principal Accountabilities ( % of time, Responsibility)
？ (5%) Strictly follow company EHS & 5S policies and regulations. Follow R&D personnel's individual EHS responsibilities listed in 'EHS Responsibilities Management Program'
？ (25%) Develop high quality startup deal flow: scout innovative startups in China and Asia for strategic partnerships and equity investments to bring growth opportunities
？ (15%) Collect and conduct research of market and technology trends for NOVA global areas e.g., construction productivity, building performance, customer experience, circular economy
？ (15%) Source, structure and execute startup equity investment deals. Conduct due diligence and negotiations
？ (15%) Build a broad network in innovation ecosystem in China and Asia including venture capital funds, incubators, accelerators, universities, and research institutes
？ (25%) Build up and strengthen NOVA's business relationship with Saint-Gobain business and understand their strategy roadmap
Qualifications
？ Master’s degree or above in Materials Science, Engineering or Management
？ Prefer to have 2-5 years of working experience in diverse roles in business or technical. Consulting, industrial, startup, innovation, technology experience is a plus
？ Fluent in English
？ Must have excellent listening, communication, teamwork, and networking skills
？ Prefer to have good project management skills
