The Senior E/E tester supports the local testing team in testing and validating E/E Components (infotainment, radio, navigation, etc.) in testing and reporting all errors to the development team in Germany. Then the roal is to follow up on all problems and make sure that the developer will fix this problem.
Who is responsible for E/E test and validation process, creates and approves the E / E test strategy. Make the test plan as well as the requirements for the test environment and platform, monitor and control the entire test process. Detail tasks are as below:
a. Collect change information from ICLx / BBM system and maintain measure list.
b. Plan and configure test platforms and make validation planning.
c. Create the test order based on measure list / ESI protocol and other test requests from M50 project leader.
d. Organize test meeting to distribute information and test order to relevant validation teams.
e. Check part ordering and arrival status according to CCB report information and ICLx information.
f. Generate SAB report for each I-step and deliver to Munich counterparts.

Problem Management
Who is responsible to guide and organize the problem management process. Has to align the activities with all E/E relevant departments at BBT-E/BCS/BMW. Assessing and solving problem database related IT issues is a crucial part of the designated role. Apart from the administrative proficiency in the problem management processes there has to be a detail technical insight to be able to evaluate if proposed solution dates are realistic or not. However, the overview about the whole problem landscape has to be kept independently from the daily changes and the technical details that emerge in the discussions with the problem resolution departments. This position is responsible for the eradication of all remaining problem issues before SOP and SB/WE. These results will be used to steer the E/E development process. Main tasks are listed below:
a.Discuss solution dates, technical details and organizational issues with problem resolution responsible in Germany/China.
b.Take part in the corresponding problem management meeting with BMW.
c.Generate a weekly status of E/E relevant topics and present it in the Module50 project meeting and project steering committee.
d.Organization, preparation and moderation of the "Top error Round" meeting.
e.Make sure that new raised defect tickets are well described and all relevant information are attached (pictures, traces etc…)
f. Make sure that new defect tickets will not be raised in the Octane system, if there is an Octane ticket with the same error already stored. (Reducing duplicated ones).
g.Monitoring and escalation, if the solution of the described Octane tickets comes not in time or the provided solution is not tested and confirmed in time.

Collegue degree in electronic related or engineering related field, at least Bachelor
5+ years of work experience
familar with EE and infotainment related software, ideally BMW Software
