As a Business Controller, you will partner with your Merchandising Senior Manager of your respective business scope, to co-create goals and activities that give direction to the merchandising team, ensuring the delivery of the best customer offer in line with the overall strategy for your respective Business Units/Portfolio Brands.

You have ownership of using data-driven insights to bring direction and clarity to the business teams to secure the right focus on our objectives and key results.

You drive business results by securing seasonal methods and routines, along with being able to respond in an agile way to any changes in the business landscape. You closely monitor and follow up activities and goals related to set plans, focusing on driving and optimizing key business areas.

You work closely with your controlling manager, along with other Business Controllers, to improve efficiency by strengthening our processes and decision support.

You optimize the supplier strategy to ensure customer needs short and long term. You secure purchasing practices through capacity planning and execution.

You actively drive our Sustainability agenda within social and environmental areas to further strengthen our role as a responsible buyer and be a leader in transforming the fashion industry.

As a Business Controller, you lead your colleagues by example and are driven by our company values.

Through analysis, you proactively identify business opportunities and risks, so that we can take appropriate action. You work towards a clear purpose and believe that by providing the right information at the right time, you will be able to drive strong actions and results together with your team.

You perform proactive data analysis which you translate into actionable steps, enabling the merchandising team to make decisions and challenge the status quo. You do this from a perspective of constant improvement to help the team become more independent, confident in their decisions, and increasingly efficient over time.

You stand up for your ideas, even when they contradict people that have more experience than you in the organization. At the same time, you are open for others’ perspectives and always look for the best solution for the company.

You are passionate about technology as an enabler to business success. You are an early adopter and ambassador for new ways of working across the controlling and merchandising community.

You are a strong communicator and collaborate beyond your immediate team; always looking for opportunities to connect, learn and inspire. You always seek to develop and motivate the people around you.
