Key purpose of the role / the difference it makes to the business

Working as part of a team to contribute and work on a variety of design projects across multiple sectors with an emphasis on Retail and Mixed Use Design, ensuring the highest standards of creative and technical input to the team’s project work.
Key Responsibilities


• With the guidance of the Associate Director or others in the team, responsibilities will include design strategy, concept design and the production of detailed working drawings.

• Actively seek inspiration and reference from sources outside of the business to support creative design solutions.

• Source reference and carry out research to illustrate a design direction to the clients, working with architects and graphic designers in the project team.

• Produce basic concept work using hand sketches or variety of digital and traditional media to a high standard.

• Assist in assembling presentations using a variety of digital and traditional media, particularly Adobe InDesign.

• Produce, under supervision, drawing packages for Schematic and Detail Stages.

• Source reference material and carry out research to ensure that materials and products are fit for purpose.

• Build knowledge of markets, our clients and their competitors.

• As directed, responsible for some basic project communication, including liaising with contractors, design & construction team and written communications.

• Assist with recording design team or site meetings either by minutes, letters, emails or file notes.

• Provide support to any more junior team members.

• Provide ad-hoc support as required.


任职要求：
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related design field
3+ years of interior design experience
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and time efficiently
Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as an effective team member
Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
Proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino,SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop, InDesign or other design programs
Strong verbal and written language skills in both Mandarin and English is preferred
