Responsibilities:
• Act as a change agent to further enhance our growth culture, a culture that is fully in line with Smiths Leadership Behaviour and Smiths Way of integrity, respect, customer focused, ownership and passion.
• Design and leverage integrated plant people strategies based on a holistic understanding of our diverse workforce, enabling the attraction, development, and retention of top talent.
• As business advisor to provide insights and consultancies to the leadership team. Partner with leaders to facilitate organizational design and development, leadership coaching, and team building that support change and growth.
• Manage and facilitate the overall Performance Management Cycle and employee engagement survey throughout the year.
• Work with TA team and hiring managers and the recruitment team on vacancies ensuring top talent is brought into the business and are candidates have a superb candidate journey.
• Create solutions to people issues which enable stakeholders to better meet their commercial objectives.
• Use data and metrics to identify potential issues and support decision-making that really increases employee engagement.
• Integrate and partner with Country CoE, Legal, and People Operations team.
• Provide on-the-ground support for employment issues and implementation of HR policies and practices; manage and consult on employee and labour relations; conduct training and development programs; provide compensation/staffing consultant and coaching services to managers.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of relevant HR processes, providing solutions for the needs of internal clients taking into account existing corporate policies and current legislation.
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
• Ownership of projects on an ad-hoc basis such as annual performance reviews and engagement surveys
• Ensure that all working polices are in place, up to date and reviewed on an annual basis or as legislation dictates.
• Ensure HR compliance to Smiths quality standards and adherence to division/group policies/procedures/ code of ethics.
• Supporting HSE: Identify the requirements of relevant parties; Identify internal / external risks and opportunities of the organization; Organize and participate in management review; Organize the environmental factor identification and monitor garbage classification; Provide PPE; Prevent accidents and eliminate the hidden dangers.
Requirements:
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree and above. At least 10 years working experience in human resources field within multinational organizations and international environment.
• Fluent in English speaking and writing as daily working language.
• Strong interpersonal awareness, business acumen, presentation and project management skills, strong communication skills and being able to influence people with diverse background and different layer.
• Proven agility in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
• Self-driven, autonomous, and able to work remotely on virtual basis.
• Working knowledge of local/ regional employment legislation
• Ability to multitask and manage a fluctuating workload.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
