Main Responsibility:
Manage, plan, supervise and perform tire edurance indoor testing ;Ensure and demonstrate tire testing capability,capacity and quality;provide and manage test solutions for our customers in the most accurate,timely,efficient and sustainable manner.
1. Technical Leadership (30%)
- Technical responsibility of Endurance Indoor testing;
- Ensure and demonstrate tire testing capability,capacity and quality;
- Implement technical development actions including test methods,machines, epuipments, tools, systems,e,t.c
- Lead, steer or participate in the assigned project work or task to implement process or test methods in according to defined process to ensure the objective and success criteria of the project or task is achieved on time.
- Investment and cost managment;
- monitoring latest testing technology and test reuirement& solutions in the regulation/OE/market
- Ensure machine utilization and backlog management ;
- Operation highlight and review
2. Leading people(20%)
- Distribution, monitoring and review of group tasks
- Communication with stakeholders
- Strategy development
- Training / Guidance
- HRD topics and Adminitrative tasks including leasing worker management
3. Quality System - GT PoMS(15%)
- Assume the roles of GT PoMS Author by creating and update the content in PoMS documentation at Local level to ensure active and effective PoMS Quality System;
- Ensure the implementation mangement system in the laboratory according to the requestments of GT PoMS & ISO/IEC17025/ IATF16949 and requlatory/ customer specific requirement;
- Identify the occurance of departures from mangement system or from the procedures for performing test and/or calibrations, initiate actions to prevent or minimize such departures;
- coordinate on site for visit/audit/witness testing, define actions to close the findings in time ;minimize the reoccuence of non-conformities;
4. Test coordination (15%)
- CORE make task according to test priority & machine capacity and rim availability;
- Coordinate test priority with developers and resorce steering team;
- Problem solving whenever there is unplanned issues within Endurance Indoor test euipment, system issue, material shortage, process error...;
- coordinate and participate the crosscheck,Ensure Crosscheck and proficiency testing are conducted according to quality and time requirement;
- monitor the consumable materials in testing and raise purchasing order and do quality check when goods arrive;
- communicate with developer for any kind of test question and technical compliance issues;
5. Test execution(5%)
- Conduct assigned laboratory testing according to defined schedule, process, method, procedure, Standards, regulatory requirement and Continental policies to ensure timely delivery of valid and accurate result or outcome to our customer.
- Organize the incoming sample, safe keeping, delivery of sample and disposal of sample according to defined process, method, procedure, Standards, regulatory requirement and Continental policies to ensure timely processing for testing, suitably kept, labelled, well-documented for traceability purpose.
- Carries out the routine validation, calibration and preventive measure process on the machine, equipment, apparatus or process in according to defined schedule, process, method, procedure, Standards, regulatory requirement and Continental policies to ensure they are function efficiently and effectively, delivering valid and accurate result or outcome, in a controlled manner.
(Controlled manner meaning adequate consideration of the safety, health and environment impact to the people and the surroundings)
- Analysis, evaluate and finally report the test outcome in according to defined process, method, procedure to ensure timely delivery of valid and accurate result or outcome to our customer.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master of Mechanical Engineering or in the field of natural science or equivalent by strong technical experience in relevant area
- ideally ＞3-5 years of experience in tire related business or testing laboratory
- experience in R&D tire or tire manufacturing plant or testing is a plus
- ideally 2~3 years leading a small or mid team experience
- open for european-chinese cooperation, open for occasionally traveling national and international
English language skills required
