Responsibilities:
As a Legal Specialist, s/he is expected to provide the legal support for the business operation of EssilorLuxottica China entities, specifically the matters with regard to the following tasks:
- Legal Research – conduct legal research as needed by the team. Proactively participate in legal department programs that help collective knowledge growth.
- Contract Review and Business Advice – with guidance of legal directors or senior managers of the team, to review contractual documents and provide legal advice to multiple functions including but not limited to Marketing, Sales and Operation to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and to support business development.
- Enhance Foundation – assist on training on related topics and update contract templates under the guidance of legal directors.
- Miscellaneous - Assist Legal Directors on ad hoc projects.
Requirements:
- Law degree from a recognized premier institution in China.
- Passing China bar exam
- Oversea studying/working experiences is not a must, but a bonus.
- Minimum 2-3 years legal related working experiences.
- Language skills: proficient in both Chinese and English.
- Good at legal research, and willing to deep dive on various topics.
- Well organized and plan well.
- Good at MS office software.
- High ethical standard

- Good common sense, and able to think critically.
- A team player.
- A deep and proactive listener and good at understanding the actual needs of stakeholders.
