A product engineer is a professional who is responsible to coordinate the introduction of new projects into some specific assembly station. The product engineer must have a good knowledge about their area of responsibility and it is the responsible for all future introductions that belongs to this area.
The product engineer must keep an often contact with partners in Europe in order to receive the latest information about the introductions and drill down the information to the assembly line as well as coordinate all future changes needed on their area of responsibility to full fill the project demands.
This professional will be part of an exciting journey to set the base for final assembly in China and help the organization to develop a future plant with high level of quality and digitalization.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Project coordination
- Ensure milestones achievement
- Cross functional alignment among different areas
- Responsible to provide the production input for new introductions.
- Responsible for transferring the knowledge about future projects to front office engineers as well to top management group.
- Resolve the production issues if required
- Analyze the production status and improve the production capacity.
- Responsible to evaluate working load for new process.
- Responsible to share the local process and balance to the global organization.
- All the task assigned by manager.
Education and/or Experience
- Engineering bachelor’s degree or above
- English advanced level (Speaking, listening, writing and reading).
- Automotive industry experience will be considered as an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Work previously in a manufacturing production line will be considered as an advantage, but not mandatory.
