Main Purpose and Job Scope
This job contributes to Starbucks success by acting as a strategic business partner and advocate. Ensure effective delivery of Partner Resources supports and services to Starbucks partners in assigned business unit, department or region. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks mission & values.
Key Accountabilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
●Collaborates with Partner Resources specialist teams and cross- functional teams to ensure clients' organizational needs are met and to develop strategic programs.
●Facilitate partner learning and development, retention strategies, succession planning and career development in accordance with Starbucks Mission Statement and Core Values.
●Implement Partner Resources strategic plans, tactics and projects. Integrate company-wide Partner Resources strategic plans, projects and objectives into client business units, departments and regions.
●Provide consultation and support to managers on partner relations issues and applicable company policies and employment laws.
●Serve as an advocate on behalf of partners. Solicits and listens to partners' concerns, and takes an active role in resolving problems. Provides information, or facilitates partners' ability to obtain information, about benefits, compensation, training and other Partner Resources programs and services
●Work with assigned business unit, department or regional clients to assess needs and to design and develop organization structures and talent plans
●Conduct investigations for employment-related claims. Provides investigation and consultation support to managers addressing partner conduct and performance issues.
●Design/develop/localize HR core processes
Requirements
Summary of Experience
●Well-rounded experience & knowledge in performance management, learning & development, talent management, employee relations, and compensation (10 years+)
●Progressively responsible human resources BP roles (3 years+)
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
●Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, work in a fast-paced and changing environment
●Ability to apply consultative skills in a business environment, coach and mentor others, facilitate groups, manage performance, assess needs of team & Change management
●Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource management
●Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
●Fluent English & Mandarin, both written and verbal
