Primary focus
1、Attend client meetings, manage end to end of the packaging development process in cooperation with the client process leaders (such as DDS, AP etc.) to meet project timelines in an effective way
2、Proactively identify potential issues to the process leaders or key SPOC and suggest options to avoid delay on CPS and/or provide solution to the issue
3、Prompt, clear and accurate information flow to various parties within SGS, such as briefs for graphic adaptation and Final Art production
4、Proivde all essential documentation to production floor to prepare the deliverables that met client needs. That includeds but no limited to Job number, Brand Guidelines, Customer Supplied documents, Printer specifications, checklists, all references files stated in the brief, quaranitine any non-conformance deliverables reported by Clients
5、Upload files to Client appointed locations.
6、Suggest improvements to the workflow and implement these changes where possible
7、 Possess solid account know-how, able to foresee, manage and solve any abnormal situations / problem to avoid delay in project
8、Prepare invoices on all completed jobs at the agreed time frame (not more than 60 days)
9、 Follow up all enquires on WIP reports and invoices
10、Identify root cause after an unavoidable incident, propose improvement plan to avoid reoccurrence
11、Provide daily/weekly update of incoming projects if applicable
12、Other tasks assigned by manager
Supporting tasks
1、Maintain project status documentations as per manager’s / client’s request.( such as project tracker, SOP, FFU reports, progress reports, monthly reports etc)
2、Liasion with Team Lead. PPM and includes but not limited to KAM to monitor and execue projects according to the agreed price matrix,process and workflow
3、 Understand corporate guidelines and be able to brief a job clearly to an artwork team
4、Direct Client experience in a creative environment, serves clients to build muture business relationship
5、 Provide input / review quality related reports
6、 Perform other duties assigned by the Company from time to time
7、 Ad hoc assignment per manager’s request
Requirements:
1、 Minimum 2 years experience in in design, Artwork, Pre-Press, Printing in Packaging industry
2、 Project Management Experience
3、 Fluent spoken English
4、 Written English is a must, Chinese is an advantage
5、 Knowledge on any other Asian language is a plus
6、 MS office application is a must (Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
7、 Basic Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator skills would be an advantag
8、 Negotiation skills: Able to negotiate and collaborate with internal and external parties to achieve desired outcome
9、 Attention to details: Ensure accuracy on information and documentation (e.g. prepare precise project related documentations to facilitate the entire production process)
10、Quality: Ensure workflow and policies are being adhered. Provide input on quality related issues, minimise error rate
11、 Customer service: Resolves customer’ s problems to their satisfaction, responds promptly to customer enquiries and follow up accordingly
12、Industry knowledge: Good understanding of general artwork development principles to enhance articulation of our value proposition
13、Process driven: Understand the relevant procedures and processes throughout the internal production & sales workflow. Good understanding of customer workflow for Design Packaging; Brand Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Standards
14、Follow Company’ s SOP / Client’ s Protocol
15、Ensure correct information in Company’ s system, ensure projects delivery on time
16、Proactively communicate with the team and managers, ensure crucial information are being shared promptly.
17、Be mindful and respect the cut-off time of other teams / departments to ensure smooth workflow. Proper handover should be done before day end / when one is on holiday
18、Be innovative propose process improvement plans to either reduce cost or time.
