Purpose of the Job

Support sales on pre- sales activity and develop technical knowledge in application scope, especially for domestic Semi OEM customers:

· Timely catch-up OEM customers’ situation, demand and target in short- & long-term scale within Chinese vast territory

· Deeply engage in OEM customer development stage by regular visiting to fully understand their challenge

· Embed Edwards brand into customer mind from very beginning with not only product knowledge support, but also solution partner relationship

· Support routine Sales activity regarding technical communication, proposal, ordering & bidding

· Conduct Continuous Improvement Programs for existing customers & projects to achieve sustaining customer satisfaction

· Study competitor’s product and differentiated our own product value

· Establish domestic OEM tool data reference(TDR), including platform, node, process and our solution

· Co-work with product management team to enable the product roadmap and NPI plan

The scope of this role is all technical support supplied to the defined market sector in China

- Customer regular engagement

- Sales spec file and Technical specification release

- Process warranty follow up

- Technical issues follow up

- Issue technical memo

- Competitor product market research

- Compose tool data reference

- Training and sharing within team.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

· Bachelor’s degree level or above in an engineering or science discipline

· At least 2 years’ experience in semiconductor process/equipment/mechanical design/field service roles; ideally with a Technical support roll at SEMI OEM

· Vacuum pump knowledge or OEM working experience is preferred.

· Strong technical sense, good at issue technical materials.

· Good at problem solving methodology

· Good at communication skill, able to develop/build relationship and interact effectively with customers

· Good at both spoken and written engineering English

· Willing to travel domestically
