Your role

Are you inquisitive with analytical and risk-aware mindset to solve day-to-day process problems? Do you know how to get the words out? Do you also enjoy getting to grips with the technical aspects of team deliverables while inspiring others to deliver their best? We are looking for someone like this to:
- Ensure Completeness, Accuracy and Timeliness (""CAT"") requirements Trade capture controls and Trade Lifecycle controls for our Investment banking derivatives trades across FRC and Equities. This includes daily exceptions management of intersystem reconciliations at transaction/position/cash level, also the associated reporting activities, and ensuring appropriate escalation of items
- Work with other TLCS (""Trade & Lifecycle Controlling Services "") stakeholders as well as Regulatory Transaction Reporting teams to properly address issues raised.
- Actively and continually provide ideas and execute on process improvements in the exception management and data quality of submission to clients.
- Be the subject matter expert in all team activities and support teams and peripheral stakeholders.
- Project Management activities – assisting with end to end support around IMO initiatives including conducting initial impact analysis, tracking for deliverables and following up with management and IMO staff.
- Take ownership of tracking, updating issue and action logs.
*Your team :
While based full time in Wuxi, you'll be working in a global team responsible for functions supporting Trade & Lifecycle Controlling Services. You, along with your teammates, will also be responsible for transactional reporting to regulators across the world. We have 260+ colleagues with growing size. You will join as one of sub-team to initially carry responsibility for one region.
*Your expertise :
You have:
– Minimum Bachelor degree
- Fluency in reading and writing business e-mails (English qualification will be considered)
- Adequacy in communicating via oral English, both in person and remotely
- Adequate knowledge of Windows, Microsoft office suite (especially Excel pivots), and communication tool (i.e. Skype)
- Knowledge of Financial Products (i.e. OTC Derivatives Products and Terminology)
- A track record of delivery
- Experience in operational risk and controls/ operation in the financial service industry would be a plus
- Escalation awareness would be a plus
- VBA would be a plus
- Experience in managing a small team of 3-5 people would be a plus
