The Acquiring Marketing Team is dedicated to bringing buyers and sellers together and transforming how American Express is welcomed in China. The team is responsible for supporting EC Acquiring Team to accelerate merchant acceptance and enhance the value of Amex acceptance to merchants and Card Members at scale. In addition, the team will partner with EC Acquiring team to develop B2B communication strategy and materials, so Acquiring Team with be more geared up to engage acquirers and acquirers would understand Amex’s value to engage merchants.
The Marketing Manager role will be responsible for overseeing the identified key accounts/ merchants marketing initiatives. As such, the Manager will be responsible for developing the merchant marketing strategies including the annual marketing plan, budget and resourcing. The Manager will also be responsible for ensuring all campaigns are flawlessly executed and are in line with the company’s brand and marketing guidelines by working closely with Brand Marketing team.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketing professional, capable of thinking strategically, able to fully lead and own projects and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. In addition, the Manager will be expected to develop a deep understanding of ley accounts/ merchants’ needs and meet and advise merchants on marketing solutions.
