1. 整车测试内容包括：电动车续航测试，燃油车油耗测试，混动车能耗和油耗测试；
2. 制定整车能耗测试计划并且执行计划；
3. 在测试前对车辆状态进行检查；
4. 安装数据记录设备并且检查设备是否正常工作；
5. 跟踪车辆测试流程，确保测试按照奔驰标准测试流程执行；
6. 持有C1驾照，驾驶熟练；
7. 可安排出差；
8. 熟悉车辆转毂测试者优先；
Fuel Efficiency Pre-test Engineer_能耗测试工程师
Objective of job
Ensure the pretest conducted regarding on Mercedes-Benz standards, and release MDV report and vehicle to homologation within aligned timeline and requirement.
Task Description
1. Planning and conduction of China fuel consumption/energy consumption pretests for ICE models and xEV models
• Communicate and coordinate with different parties to set up the pretest timeline
• Ensure all necessary documents are provided before the pretest
• Check the vehicles before pretest. Make sure vehicles are in test ready status
• Install data logger to record pretest data
• Conduct pretests. Make sure all requirements from regulations as well as those from Daimler are fulfilled
2. Test data analysis and test reports writing
• Analysis pretest results with specific software tools
• With detailed analysis, write pretest report and present to headquarter colleagues for final approval
• For technical issues happened during the pretest , add specific issue analysis and explanation to the report
3. Technical function: Issue troubleshooting for China
• Document all issues found in pretests into issue database timely
• Organize issue analysis recurring conference. Invite test engineers and RD experts from different departments to make in-depth issue troubleshooting
• Set up new testing procedures based on the issue troubleshoot experiences for China pretest
4. Testing tools planning, managing and upgrading
• Be the key user of all pretest related tool, including software and hardware
• Be the pilot user for new tools developed from headquarter. Give instructions to all China engineers after trials
• Planning the budget for pretest tools twice a year
• Manage all existing tools. Make sure the tools are stored properly. Record all usages of each tool
• Regularly keep in touch with headquarter tool expert. Forecast the necessary tool upgrading
Qualification
o Education
• Bachelor degree in recognized automotive/mechanical/electrical engineering
O Experience
• Graduates with first experience in automotive industry (including internships)
• More than 3 years working experience at OEM’s or suppliers for vehicle dyno testing in WLTP/engine calibration/emission test or other related works.
• Experience of overall vehicle development & projects management is a plus.
• Working experience in international company is a plus.
O Specific Knowledge
• Solid Knowledge of Powertrain systems and powertrain issue analysis
• Good driving skills. China C1 driving license is necessary
• General knowledge in vehicle network such as CAN, LIN, …
• MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel is mandatory. VBA coding skill is a plus
• Willingness to travel inside China and foreign countries.
• Teamwork spirit with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Fluent English (oral, writing, listening and reading) is necessary; German language knowledge is a plus
• Experiences with Matlab is a plus
