Our R&D Cab-Team (TE/PAC) in China is responsible for the development and localization of Cab-in-White, Cab suspension, Cab Interior & Exterior and Cab-tronics for Heavy-Duty Trucks production close to Beijing. We are working in a global and intercultural environment as part of a cross-functional team of R&D, Procurement, Quality, Cost engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management.
We are looking for people with broad knowledge, pro-active attitude and good communication skills. We offer the space to work along the entire development chain from specification, design, supplier sourcing, tooling, sampling, validation, release, until Start of Production.
Due to complexity of the project plus currently facing peak time (due to extended business scope) of the business with a relative small team, additional engineers are an urgent need for support in cabin Exterior team.

Key tasks：
- Support Bumper components development with supplier and team in R&D role and identify risk and take proactive actions with supplier in tooling design, mold flow, raw material choose and validation, total assembly check age design review, each tryout sample review , CMM report check, Bumper assembly matching check, etc.
- Project management in R&D role. Join in related meetings including internal and external. Draft project report related to R&D.

Requirements：
Bachelor degree or above major in Material Engineering, Mechanical, Automotive or equivalent engineering subject.
Over 5 years of experience in the development of cab exterior plastic parts
Good knowledge and experience of RPS, injection molding process, plastic raw material, mold flow, etc. of injecting plastic parts.
Solid knowledge in GD&T.
Pro-active working attitude and commitment & accountability.
Good communication skill.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English to explain complex topics in simple terms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
