Principle Activities:

• Initiate and conduct kick-off meetings

• Assure the provision of request documentation (e.g. requirements specification, PartSpec, logistic specification, quality specification, etc.)

• Assure the handling of supplier selection / supplier decision processes in coordination with the person in charge of purchasing or supplier quality; initiate pre-sourcing and participate in the Sourcing Committee, implement risk evaluation and contract reviews to secure the legal framework in cooperation with the responsible contract management; initiate tool kick-offs and assure the tool tracking; escalate in case of deviations of all kinds

• Cooperate in conducting risk analyses. Assure the implementation of the risk filter in cooperation with the quality subproject leader and assure that quality planning processes are conducted (e.g. Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), etc.) for all relevant suppliers

• Assure the maturity increase of purchased parts respectively qualification of suppliers through interface management (e.g. SQE, SQT, development, production, etc.) and initiate escalations, if necessary in coordination with supervisor/ mentor. Assume responsibility for the sub-areas supplier quality and purchased parts maturity in customer audits with respect to the project involving the quality subproject leader and if necessary with support of supervisor

• Assure the timely, project-related supplier qualification and implement measures, if necessary in coordination with supervisor, taking into account critical milestones

• Assure all logistics-relevant measures for suppliers in terms of Safe Launch as well as requirements for system-supported sourcing; coordinate bottlenecks in material staging in cooperation with logistics

• Assure cost estimations through market evaluations or internal calculations in acquisition phases. Coordinate, agree on and achieve cost goals as part of managing target results; conduct target/actual comparisons; introduce actions for target deviations with escalation to key project management or within line organization as necessary; forward information for material cost calculations. Takes action when deviations from the target occur.

• Assure compliance with allocated project budget; introduce actions in case of deviations. Create and coordinate project budget planning for the purchased parts scope in the appropriate project; derive, agree on and follow up on targets and actions with the quality subproject leader based on the requirements manuals and in coordination with the technical departments (e.g. purchasing, etc.), if necessary in cooperation with supervisor

• Analyze and evaluate changes (internal/ external), cooperate in negotiations (e.g. volume and costs of changes, etc.) and assure implementation. Direct interface to the Change Coordinator and participants in change talks. Assure the change and target management process, as well as maturity increase.

• Create and check project reports and presentations, as well as project conclusion documentation

• Initiate interim measures to prevent production downtimes at customers, if necessary in coordination with supervisor

• Determine the project status and document with maturity tool / report technical project

• Conduct product reviews with participants of key project management and management, if necessary in coordination with supervisor

• Report change and target cost process

• Conduct escalations in coordination with supervisor to “Project Steering Group M”, key project, head of sales


Job and Work Requirements:

• University degree and above

• 5 years of procurement experience in the automatic industry, especially in interior and exterior field.

• Project experience is plus

• good at cross-function communication and conflict management.

• English can be used as working language
