This position is based in Guangzhou Branch Office, under the employment of East Asia Digital Information Services (Guangdong) Limited (EADIS).

East Asia Digital Information Services (Guangdong) Limited, established in 2002, provides back-office support on Technology and Operations services to cater for the growth needs of the Bank’s Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and overseas operations.


Responsibilities

• Be a team member of information Technology Department and work closely across different teams

• Lead a development team to complete projects according to the bank standards

• Conduct feasibility study for prospective projects

• Manage large-scale system projects implementation / consultation

• Monitor project executions, and manage constraints in terms of scope, resource, schedule, quality and risk

• Liaise and serve as a facilitator between business units and development team in obtaining user requirements, addressing & resolving issues

• Supervise major project activities and rollout plans

• Perform evaluation of software and hardware products

• Comply with all application regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity

• Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, access, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day works
Requirements

• University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related disciplines

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in system implementation or IT project management, preferably in banking / finance industry

• Solid experience in Java and Spring Framework, MQ and JMS, REST API, SOAP, XML and JSON

• Familiar with interface integration development (such as REST API design), system integrations, system automation and Microservices technologies such as K8S

• Experience on DevOps or CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Jira)

• Sound knowledge in Agile Project Management Model and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Strong analytical, problem solving skills

• In-depth knowledge of investment product is preferable

• A team player with good interpersonal skill

• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
