The purposes of this position are:
• Project leader in OM Manufacturing Engineering
• Maintain and enhance OM Manufacturing Engineering competence for Project Management
• Support supplier quality improvement
• Support customer complaint handling
• Support/lead of engineering project


Key Areas of Responsibility：
Coordination of Development and Engineering projects OM Manufacturing Engineering
• Preparation of project plan (Time, Money, Quality, People, Risks, …) based on project assignment
• Autonomously gathering required information from stakeholders and involved parties
• Planning and controlling of projects based on the Business Creation Procedure, Engineering Change Procedure and other Lumileds processes
• Realization of the project according to the project plan together with involved parties
• Preparation for project reviews and release requests
• Alignment of technical requirements with suppliers, production, and product marketing.
• Organization of sample preparation and validation
• Supporting PMM with technical data for customer communication
• Supporting SQA with technical data for supplier communication
• Supporting team leader to prioritize and allocate resources
• Definition of priorities within the project
• Definition and control of interfaces of the project with the “outside world”
Coordination of Tests
• Organization of adaptations of products, product components, processes, machines, and tools
• Validation of the adaptations and analysis of tests
• Assessment of measuring and test equipment
• Organization of test data analysis and preparation of conclusions
Documentation and Reporting
• Taking care of documentation of all relevant results of assigned activities (projects, tests, specials)
• Preparation of documents (scenarios) to support MT or other stakeholders to take decisions

Job Requirements & Skills
• Engineer with bachelor degree in technical study or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in industrial surrounding (preferably lamp and/or LED manufacturing)
• 5 years of experience as project leader
• Automotive quality or highly regulated industry experience
• Autonomous way of working
• Cooperative and able to work in a team
• Alignment of conflicts within the project and with outside parties
• Taking ownership
• English fluent
• Good communication skills
• Experience with statistical tools: DoE, Mean, Stddev, Cpk, SPC, regression etc.
• 20% travelling domestic and/or overseas
• Pro-active way of working
