Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Ensures in the day to day business, that all manufactured products meets automotive quality requirements by “listening to the products, processes and people to create a continuous learning and pro-active quality minded manufacturing organization”

• Accountable for product quality assurance within the delegated manufacturing area.
Release or block manufactured batches based on related process / product data.
Monitor the trends of blocked batches and rejects of inspections and escalate if required.

• Responsible to improve the results of Critical Product Parameters. Initiate continuous improvement by taking the lead of respective improvement projects.
Secure and monitor the measurement systems by organizing analyses on variable and attributive values

• Complaint handling process:
Organize /execute detailed analyzes of returned products, Communicates issue to manufacturing shop floor, support Quality Manager by executing the FTA / PDCA and complaint report to customer.
Responsible to implement and coordinate agreed containment actions.
Monitors the effectiveness of implemented countermeasures and containment actions.

• Responsible to maintain and improve the quality standards of manufacturing (FMEA and Control Plan, Failure catalogue and SOP’s)

• Responsible for the statistical analyzes of all returned products (C1, C2, C3, C0).
Trend charts with main failures and the main improvement actions implemented.

• Responsible for the sample procedure process (Sample procedure in terms of PPAP, VDA or customer requirements, Determination of needed measurements and summarizing of results, Prepare test results)

Job Requirements & Skills:
• Education: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Physics or similar
• Know how in manufacturing, quality management or quality assurance
Experiences of at least 3 years of experience in a similar function in a technical/ industrial environment.
• Good communication skills (speaks, reads and writes English)
• Detailed knowledge in quality management tools (like SPC, MEDIC/PDCA, FMEA, DOE, FTA, 8D-reprts etc.)

• Knowledge in statistics and related tooling (Minitab)
• Technical education and experiences in bulb design/development and quality measurement equipment preferable.
• Experiences in Automotive environment preferable
insights in customer requirements, customer complaint handling and “zero defect requirements and approaches”
• Knowledge to manage improvement projects (Green belt certification would be an advantage)
• Is accurate and delivers quality results based on a strong Quality-mind-set
• Likes to spend time on the production floor
• Can work well in teams, good co-operation with others. Good leadership skills.
• Capable to operate and communicate on different levels in the organization.
• Is flexible in availability and mobility to travel in China (to customers).
