Tasks:
Planning
Contribute to formulate the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
Develop financial and tax strategies
Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
Operations
Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
Manage, supervise and develop the controlling, accounting, human resources and IT teams of the Roto Asian companies with in total 30 team members and 9 direct reports
Further develop financial processes in accounting and controlling aligned to Roto Group requirements and standards
Continuous improvement of business support process based on enhancement of standards, digitalization, consolidation etc.
Financial Information
Oversee the issuance of financial information
Provide solid internal and external reporting including meaningful analysis of sales, margin, cost and EBIT monitoring for each legal entity and profit center
Report financial results to the board of directors
Risk Management
Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
Further develop and monitor reliable control systems and compliance management systems
Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors
Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
Funding / treasury
Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
Manage foreign currency exposures
Arrange for debt and equity financing in cooperation with Roto Group Treasury
Maintain banking relationships
IT
First level support
Sourcing aligned with Roto Group IT standards
IT project implementation in accordance with Roto Group IT project plan
HR
Ensure HR processes according to Roto Group HR standards and local labor acts
HR-IT project implementation in accordance with Roto Group HR-IT project plan
Competencies:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
Excellent Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
In depth knowledge of accounting, controlling and risk management practices
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP, Konsis, SAC, Business Warehouse)
Recognize and be responsive to the needs of all clients of the organization, including the Board of Directors, advocates, auditors, tax advisors and banks
Strong leadership and organisation skills (Supervise staff, including regular progress reviews and plans for improvement)
Communicate effectively in English both written and verbal form. German and Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
Education
Completion of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration at an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
Experience
Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Chief Financial Officer Level
Several years of financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations within a multinational group (Europe headquarters)
Working Condition
Office work environment, placed in Ningbo or Beijing, P.R. China
Frequent travels to Roto Asia companies and branches, Roto Group headquarter and other Roto Group subsidiaries
