Due to business expansion, we are looking for a seasoned Development and Engagement Manager to start as soon as possible. This role is responsible for the set up and implementation of Culture talk, learning framework, learning solutions & delivery, talent review, development offer and engagement programs/initiatives throughout the business whilst ensuring the global/regional learning and engagement architecture, engagement and recognition framework and company culture are maintained and delivered. The Development and Engagement Manager will be working to partner with HRBP, local business heads, line managers and staff. S/he will also manage and develop relationships with 3rd party service providers as needed.
Principle responsibilities:
Company Culture:
- Continuously strive to maintain the build on the organization’s company culture by acting as a company culture ambassador. Create, facilitate or assist in the culture talks. Partnering with internal management, Human Resources Business Partner and Retail Training Team
- Embed a performance culture within the business as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear objectives, feedback and the improvement of internal and external customer service through behaviors aligned the Company Values
Talent Identification and Talent Development:
- Set up the talent identification process. Provide assessment and facilitate the calibration rollout.
- Guide the Individual Development Plan (IDP) process and work with HR Manager Business Partner to follow up the action plan
Learning and Development Framework, Solution & Delivery
- Provide guidance for office individual effectiveness/core competencies/functional learning framework, by pulling resources from either functional supports or local internal or external parties
- Design, customize and facilitate the the individual effectiveness/core competencies workshop or learning options as guided or trained. Provide learning/training effectiveness evaluation
Engagement and Recognition Framework
- Set up the Engagement and Recognition Framework for thus to embed the Company culture into performance and drive for desired behaviors
- Drive implementation and validate effectiveness. Drive for improvement on the continuously base
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 10 years relevant work experience in sizable FMCG & Retail business with solid experience in Learning and Engagement role, Global exposure a plus
- Certified in Train the Trainer (TTT advanced)
- Qualified coach or member of professional coaching organization, or certified trainer for certain leadership subjects
- Good Microsoft word/ excel/power point skills
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Able to use English/Chinese as working language
- Understanding the role of company culture ambassador
- Good project management skills, strong culture building capability and employee relationship building experience.
- Able to deliver independent basic individual effectiveness and leadership workshop
- Knowledge of Competencies model and leadership models
- Possess a strategic view of representation
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with leaders, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with different function team members of the organization
- Highly motivated, able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
- Positive thinking, proactive and open-minded.
- Strong business acumen and have a flexible and result driven approach on managing challenges and changes.
