Brief Introduction of the position

Ensuring the database maintenance to create sampling curves (part validity in bill of materials/Promon). Ensure the preparation of milestone oriented QPN-I status report together with QTR (QA Input) and 2-Day Production. Ensuring the Initiation of corrective actions in coordination with the responsible BTV. Prepare report for Pilot-hall meetings, QPN-I status, and do the reporting if necessary.

Key Tasks

Proficient use of IT systems for data acquisition, analysis and report generation.
Database maintenance to create sampling curves (part validity in Bill of Materials/Promon).
Compile and prepare documents for Pilot-hall meetings.
Prepare milestone oriented QPN-I status report together with QTR (QA Input) and 2-days production.
Follow-up deviation together with BTV and other departments in the committees like Pilot-hall, VSC, etc...
Initiate corrective actions in coordination with the corresponding responsible BTV.
Reporting and if necessary, presentation on:
- HSF processing status, analysis of main points; - Sorting actions and service provider evaluation; - Suppliers’ top problem (HSF and ppm).
- Progress and processing of complaints from
Vehicle Audit
- Progress and processing of field complaints; - Critical series/project suppliers; - Suppliers’ quality capability; - Suppliers’ technical revision (TRL)
Follow-up component in scope of QPN Prio-A in project start-up.
Prepare reports and follow-up projects (initial sampling).

Qualification and skills

Degree in Engineering or other higher technical education:
Preferably in Mechanical, Vehicle and / or Project Management.
Minimum of 3 years in the Automobile Manufacturing in the areas of: Production, Product, after sales and/or Quality of Purchased Parts
Automotive background with VW methods/systems knowledge.
Detailed knowledge about production and supplier quality.
Knowledge of Volkswagen Group Standards and IT Systems
Specific training in Product and Process Approval (VDA)
Knowledge of Quality Methods: FMEA, QPN and 8D
Emotional stability
Communication and presentation skills
Fluent English, German is a plus.
