Full time Role,Report to Director (Scientific & Commercial Strategy planning)
Position Overview: NPP Associate Director is responsible for overseeing and managing the development and implementation of new product planning and portfolio management strategies as a leader of cross-functional taskforce. The leader plays a crucial role in identifying market opportunities, ensuring the successful launch of new products, optimizing the product portfolio based on China market practice.
Responsibilities:
Develop Comprehensive Commercial Strategy for pipeline assets– detailed inputs representing integrated country opportunity view
i.e. disease overview, epi, treatment paradigm
Unmet medical needs
Competitive landscape
Commercially viable Targeted Candidate Profile (TCP) feedback
Initial patient journey
Key opportunities & challenges
Proactively engage with key global PDT/CPDT cross functional teams to provide China specific feedback, including: global marketing, market access, market research, medical, etc.
Lead China product development team to generate strategic inputs in order to make the informed decisions to global PDT as well as local management: key considerations needed from market current practice, unmet needs, clinical and registration regulation point of view
Prepare CDRD/LDRC key gate approval documents/commercial part assessment and provide key management business recommendations.
Customer engagement to identify KOLs and engage and build relationships for new TAs.
Be able to use the strategy/consultancy methodologies, develop framework for the asset evaluation.
Requirements:
+10 years above industry experience, deep understanding of China pharma market dynamics, clinical development and regulatory. At least 5 years in New Product Launch & Portfolio Management or Strategic Marketing role in MNC, in-line marketing, consulting, BD within a plus.
Strong strategic thinking and be able to generate high level business recommendation based on market insights.
Strong Business acumen, strong analytic skills and ability to transfer insights into commercial portfolio strategies.
Strong leadership with influence power and strive for excellent result.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, cross-functional teams, and senior management.
High agility in learning and cooperation.
English as working language.
Problem solving.
Solid project management skills.
Cross culture sensitivity, may gained from oversea’ s education/working experiences.
Medical education, Master Degree preferred, overseas education a plus.
